The process for ordering loupes online is as follows:

  1. We need two measurements: your working distance and the distance between your pupils.
  2. To accurately measure the distance between your pupils we will send you a “FrameFitTM” (a pair of Admetec measuring glasses) free of charge. When you receive it, you will take measurement photos of your face with the FrameFitTM on, following a few simple instructions we will provide.
  3. Our expert technicians will use the photos to accurately determine the distance between your pupils. We’ll also guide you on how to measure your working distance. It’s a simple and straightforward process.
  4. If you wear prescription glasses or contact lenses, please let us know. We will incorporate the optical correction into your customized loupes.
  5. After making the payment, you can expect to receive your loupes in about four weeks.

We offer a 60-day “Adaptation Period,” starting from the day you receive your loupes. This is an important feature of Admetec’s customer satisfaction policy, designed to give you peace of mind and ample time to adjust to your new loupes. If you’re unsatisfied for any reason during this period, you can return the loupes for a full refund—100% of your payment.

We don’t offer a trial option; however, we’re committed to guiding you in selecting the perfect loupes tailored to your unique needs. The loupes you receive will be handcrafted and personalized to match your specific requirements.

You can choose from these frames for your Loupes. (Bolle and Progear are not compatible with Ergo Loupes).

There is no extra charge for the frame. It is included in the price of the loupes.

You don’t have to pay for the FrameFitTM, and you don’t have to send it back to us.

Shipping is completely free. Our standard shipping method is usually via DHL.

We offer multiple payment options for convenience. You can choose to pay via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.

Customs taxes may vary depending on your country’s regulations. If you’d like, we can help you determine the specific amount of applicable taxes in your country.

Your loupes should arrive in about four weeks after placing your order and completing payment.

Admetec loupes, lights, and Flamingo come with a comprehensive two-year warranty. The warranty covers potential manufacturing defects or problems that may arise during this period.

  2. External correction: You can also opt for external correction, where your prescription is incorporated into the carrier lenses of the loupes. This facilitates a seamless shift between magnified vision and viewing your surroundings.

Here’s what will happen if it becomes necessary to change the prescription in your loupes:

  1. We’ll arrange collection of your loupes directly from your clinic or home, usually through DHL,
  2. Your loupes will be transported to Admetec in Israel.
  3. Our optical technicians will adjust your loupes to match your new prescription for accurate vision.

On the contrary, our loupes and lights are designed to prioritize your safety and comfort, reduce eye strain, and promote healthy ergonomics. This improves your overall work experience and well-being.

Loupes are precision optical devices that can benefit a wide range of professionals in various fields. Some of the professionals who commonly use magnifying glasses include:

  1. Dentists: Dentists use loupes for precise work such as dental procedures, exams, and surgeries.
  2. Dental hygienists: Dental hygienists use loupes to improve accuracy during dental cleanings and treatments.
  3. Surgeons: Surgeons from different medical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery, use loupes to improve their precision and accuracy during procedures.
  4. Veterinarians: Veterinarians use loupes for detailed examinations and surgical procedures on animals.
  5. Hair implant professionals: Professionals who perform hair transplant procedures use Loupes to ensure precision and accuracy in the placement of hair follicles.

Each category of loupes caters to different needs, for practitioners with different requirements related to their specialty or personal preferences. Here’s a breakdown:

  1. Galilean loupes offer low magnifications, a wide field of view, and depth of field. This means that they provide enhanced general vision. These loupes are easy to get used to which is why they are often recommended for first-time loupes users.
Admetec’s Galilean loupes are lightweight and have a steep declination angle, aiming for ergonomic comfort without utilizing deflection technology. Available magnifications: 2.5x, 2.7x, and 3.2x.
  2. Prismatic loupes, also called Keplerian loupes, offer increased magnification without compromising the field of view. They’re ideal for practitioners requiring increased magnification and unable to adopt ergonomic loupes due to specialty or personal working preferences. Admetec Prismatic loupes are lightweight and have a steep declination angle, aiming for ergonomic comfort without utilizing deflection technology. Available magnifications: 4.0x, 4.8x, and 5.5x.
  3. Admetec Ergo loupes pioneered a relatively new category known as ergonomic, refractive, or deflection loupes. These loupes cover a full range of magnifications while enabling practitioners to maintain a healthy ergonomic posture. This balanced position minimizes stress on the back, neck, and eyes, reducing the risk of chronic pain and musculoskeletal damage from cumulative trauma. Regardless of their specific magnification needs based on specialty or preferences, practitioners can benefit from mitigating the risk of cumulative trauma and chronic pain that might otherwise lead to premature retirement. Admetec Ergo loupes are available in six magnification levels: 3.0x, 4.0x, 5.0x, 6.0x, 7.5x, and 10x.

There are significant benefits to using Ergo loupes:

  • Mitigating pain – Admetec’s ergonomic loupes intuitively guide you to adopt and maintain a healthy working posture. This protects your back and neck from short-term aches and pains as well as long-term musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Career extender – Chronic occupational pain often disrupts and prematurely ends the careers of numerous practitioners. Ergo loupes not only allow practitioners to handle more workload in the short term but, by effectively reducing the risk of cumulative trauma, also facilitate the prolongation of careers in the long run.
  • Maximize potential – Pain diminishes concentration and hampers peak performance. Practitioners who feel better will be able to better serve their patients.
  • The lightweight design and comprehensive range of magnifications available ensure that nearly every practitioner can discover the Ergo ideal for their requirements.

The majority of practitioners, including those new to loupes, can benefit from using Ergo loupes, especially in cultivating a healthy working posture from the start. However, Ergo loupes do require the use of a mirror. If your specialty involves using tools in both hands simultaneously, Ergo loupes might not be suitable. Similarly, if your treatments involve frequent movement, using Ergo loupes could be challenging. Nevertheless, this concern isn’t applicable to most practitioners who maintain a stable working position during treatments.

Admetec provides both wired and wireless headlights. The Orchid series, featuring wired headlights, caters to practitioners valuing durability and strong light intensity. Meanwhile, the Butterfly series, our wireless lights, offers powerful light intensity coupled with the added convenience of a wireless configuration.

Admetec offers this online guide to support you in choosing the best light for your loupes.

Our lights are compatible with almost any loupes, including those of other providers. Let us know what loupes you are using and we will provide an appropriate adapter so that you can enjoy the benefits of Admetec’s powerful headlights.
