This notice explains how we, Admetec Solutions Ltd. (“We”, “Us, “Company”), process your personal data when you subscribe to and make use the Pro tier of the Flamingo Desktop Application (“Software”) For Windows and Mac, which links your local desktop version of the Software to our online cloud-based Software-as-a-Service features.
Be advised subscribing to our Flamingo Cloud is voluntary and there is no legal obligation to provide us with any personal data to this effect. However, if you do not provide us with personal data, or provide us with false or inaccurate data, we may be:
- unable to process your request to sign you up to Flamingo Cloud and create an account for the online services available,
- in some instances, inputting false personal data or a third-party’s personal data may be a breach of our Terms of Use (link) or applicable criminal law.

- What we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to deliver the Flamingo Cloud entitlements and services while complying with the applicable privacy and data protection laws governing our activity thereunder.
In this regard, we collect the following types of personal data from you:
Account & subscription data (which you provide when subscribing):
- Full name
- Email address
- Geographic location
- Password (stored as a salted, one‑way hash)
- Tier, plan, renewal/expiry date, status
Payment approval (specific personal data for payment approval and processing will be processed independently from Admetec, through and by an independent payment processor):
- We do not collect or store full card numbers.
- We receive limited metadata from the processor (e.g., transaction ID, last 4 digits, card type, billing country, payment status, timestamps).
- Our Payment Processor acts as an independent controller. See Section 6 for details.
Device & usage telemetry (from the computer which the Software is operated from and linked to our Flamingo Cloud services):
- License/entitlement checks (anonymous token, app version, OS, locale, IP‑derived region)
- Feature and performance telemetry (e.g., crash logs, error codes, latency, sync status)
- Authentication events (successful/failed logins), security events (suspicious activity)
Content you upload to the Software (videos and related editing settings):
- When you activate Flamingo Cloud, all your recorded videos will be automatically uploaded to our cloud servers through secure means.
- Video clips will then be processed using our proprietary algorithms to analyze the content and provide automated editing and enhancement tools for the purpose of creating streamlined copies of your original footage.
Support & communications:
- Any personal data included in support tickets, emails, chat transcripts, and call recordings (if you contact us), including
- Your full name,
- the problem/error,
- your account username,
- any personal data you may incidentally share during such interactions with our representatives and which is documented or recorded.

- Why we process your data and our legal bases
Administer and Manage the Flamingo Cloud (Contract, Consent and Legitimate interests), in order to:
- Create and manage your account;
- Link the local instance of the Software installed on your computer to our SaaS features, including assigning cloud storage space on our services;
- initiating entitlement checks to ensure you have access as long as your subscription is in force;
- deliver updates and support to the Software (security updates, patches etc.).
Process your payments (Contract, Consent and Legal obligations):
- Facilitate purchase/renewal via an independent payment processor;
- issue invoices/receipts;
- handle chargebacks,
- retaining invoices and personal data for taxation and accounting purposes.
Secure the service (Legitimate interests / Legal obligations and Consent):
- Prevent fraud/abuse through usage of your Account and License;
- detect and remediate security incidents reported or detected independently by Admetec;
- maintain integrity and availability.
Improve and troubleshoot (Legitimate interests and Consent):
- Collecting diagnostics, crash reports and aggregated usage patterns to improve stability and User Interface functionality.
Compliance (Legal obligations):
- Fulfilling Tax and accounting requirements
- Fulfilling any regulatory queries,
- responding to lawful requests by an authorized court order and/or data subject request hereunder.
- How the AI‑based editing works in the Software (and what it doesn’t do)
- Our cloud processing features use algorithms to analyze characteristics of the video and audio content to provide automated editing and enhancement tools.
- The AI modules process raw video footage saved on your cloud storage assigned to your Flamingo Cloud account, and scans content characteristics to perform automated editing and processing.
- The feature is not intended to identify individuals or infer personal attributes, and it does not make legal/similarly significant decisions about you.
- Uploads are encrypted in transit and at rest and are deleted per the retention rules below.
- How Payments are Processed
When you subscribe to the Flamingo Cloud, you are redirected to a secure payment page hosted by an independently-certified payment-processors we have engaged with to this end, Lemon Squeezy LLC, which is subject to PCI-DSS standards and other regulatory regimes used by International Payment processors. This partner processes your payment on our behalf.
Personal Data We Share for the Transaction.
We transmit only the data strictly necessary to complete and verify your purchase:

We do not store your full card details. After authorization we receive a non-reversible token (and the last four digits) for reference and invoicing.
We share the payment details you provide with such third-party payment processors solely to authorize and settle your purchase under a data-processing/service-provider agreement they provide their global clientele.
Be advised that they may also process your information for their own legal or compliance obligations under its separate privacy notice, as available by re-routing to their website from within their secure payment window.
Processor Safeguards.
We use internationally recognized payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Visa/Mastercard‐acquiring banks) that:
Operates under industry-standard Data Protection Addenda (DPA)
Hold independent security certifications such as PCI-DSS Level 1 (card-data security) ISO 27001 / SOC 1 & SOC 2 Type II audits (where offered) etc.
Limit data use to payment services and KYC and legal requirements relating to processing payments.
- Retention Periods of Personal Data
We only process personal data for as long as the purpose of processing is still valid and appropriate, and more specifically:
- Account & subscription data: kept for your subscription term and up to 7 years thereafter for tax/accounting and recordkeeping and enforcement and protection from lawsuits and claims.
- Telemetry, authentication & security logs: 90 days unless needed longer for fraud, terms of use breach and/or technical incident reviews.
- Support records: 24 months from resolution unless needed longer (then up to 7 years) to defend and enforce rights during legal claims.
- Videos and accompanying information uploaded to Flamingo Cloud:
- During your term of subscription – the videos uploaded will be retained as long as the video is not explictly deleted in the software
- After the user account is deleted – 30 days, in order to enable restoring accidently deleted accounts
- After the term of the subscription expires: up to 7 years in order to be able to restore the subscription.
- We may retain minimal information to honor opt‑outs and comply with law.
- Sharing & recipients
We share personal data only as needed, for the purposes above:
Independent payment processor (controller‑to‑controller):
- Lemon Squeezy, LLC ;
- We disclose: order data (plan, price), IP‑derived billing region, and transaction identifiers/metadata.
The processor is responsible for card customer and card details and fraud screening as an independent controller, with such processing being performed subject to the payment processors own privacy and data protection legal terms and in their own independent systems.
Service providers (processors):
- Cloud hosting, storage
- email/SMS delivery,
- analytics/telemetry,
- IT and data protection and security vendors.
Such service providers process your personal data under our instructions and subject to contractual safeguards under applicable data protection laws to enforce purpose limitation of their processing and that the obligations to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and security of your personal data is processed are down-streamed to such third-parties as required under applicable law.
Corporate transactions & legal:
- Professional advisers, auditors, law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect rights, users, and the service.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties other tha as above.
- Important Note on Acquiring Third-Party Consent When Using the Flamingo Cloud Features:
- It is hereby clarified that it is your responsibility to collect the required consent from third-parties (patients, nurses, residents etc.), according to the provisions of the applicable privacy and/or data protection legislation in force in your jurisdiction with regards to uploading videos and related information to Flamingo Cloud, including but not limited to:
- the right to transfer the video footage to ADMETEC so that we may store and process such personal data, including the capture of the video and audio;
- the right for ADMETEC to process the raw video footage through our AI video editing module.
- You agree to indemnify and hold ADMETEC harmless against any claims, complaints, or administrative fines levied against ADMETEC if such penalties result from your failure to secure the required third-party consent for the processing and storage of video footage and accompanying information via the Flamingo Cloud;
- International transfers of personal data
- We operate globally. Where personal data leaves your jurisdiction when uploaded to our cloud servers as part of our Flamingo Cloud entitlements and services, we use appropriate safeguards required under applicable law.
- EU/EEA: we will only process your personally data in jurisdiction subject to European Commission adequacy decisions where available (e.g., transfers to Israel), and otherwise if we can rely on alternative safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures or alternative frameworks such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, etc.).
- Israel: international transfers comply with Israeli Privacy Protection (Transfer of a Database outside of the Country), 2001 and any applicable guidelines published by the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority;
to this end we apply comparable contractual and technical safeguards as required under law.
- Your choices & controls
- Local vs. cloud processing: You can disable cloud processing and AI usage by cancelling your subscription and use the Software for its core functionalities.
- Delete your account: You can delete your account in the Software and all data that has been uploaded to Flamingo Cloud will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Telemetry: Toggle non‑essential diagnostics/analytics in Settings. Essential security/operational logs may still be collected.
- Your privacy rights
EU/EEA (GDPR):
- Access to all of the personal data we process on you
- Rectification of incorrect, inaccurate or false data following your access request,
- Erasure of personal data processed by us, unless we have an overriding legal obligation or alternate grounds for processing
- Restriction of processing of personal data provided unless we have an overriding legal obligation or alternate grounds for processing
- Portability of personal data in standard machine readable format, and
- Objection on further processing / Withdrawal of consent at any time for further processing of previously provided personal data (without affecting prior processing) unless we have an overriding legal obligation or alternate grounds for processing;
- The right lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority in your jurisdiction of residence.
Israel (PPA):
- The right to review/access personal data stored in a database about you;
- The request correction or deletion where data is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or not up to date, subject to legal exceptions.
- The right lodge a complaint with the Israeli data protection authority.

We may need to reasonably verify your identity and, where permitted under applicable law, charge a reasonable fee for repeated/excessive requests as permitted under applicable law, as the case may be.
If we have an overriding legal obligation or alternative justifications for processing which permit us to continue processing or obligate us to not comply with your data subject requests, we shall notify you in our response accordingly, alongside the justification given your local jurisdictions data protection laws, where applicable.
- Automated decision‑making
We do not perform automated decision‑making that produces legal effects or similarly significant impacts on you.
The AI editing feature is user‑initiated, and you can always review the copies produced by the AI-algorithm and edit and/or delete the copy generated suggested edits.
- Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, least‑privilege practices, and vendor security reviews.
Be advised that no system is 100% secure, and therefore
- Children
Flamingo Cloud services are intended as an added feature set for an already professionally oriented product aimed for adults only.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable age of consent neither during the sign-up process, nor during the processing performed through use of the Pro Tier services.
The user is responsible for all consent, approvals and/or agreements requisite under applicable law prior to uploading any personal data into the Software while subscribed to Flamingo Cloud, including any notifications required to permit the processing of said personal data by Admetec.
- Changes to this notice
We will post any changes on this page and update the “Effective date” above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and where required under applicable law, a prior notice on collection of new types of personal data or new processing on existing personal data (e.g., in‑app or email).
- S. State Privacy Notice (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and others)
This section applies to residents of U.S. states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws. Where differences exist among state laws, we apply this section to the extent required by your state.
Categories of personal information we collect and disclose
- Identifiers: full name, email address, account ID, IP-derived region.
- Account credentials (California “Sensitive Personal Information”): password (stored as salted, one‑way hash). We do not store plaintext passwords.
- Commercial/transaction data: plan, price, transaction metadata (from the payment processor), invoices/receipts.
- Internet/telemetry data: device/OS, app version, crash and diagnostics logs, authentication/security events.
- User content: videos you choose to process and related editing settings (see Section 4 above).
- Inferences:
- We do not create or use analytics of such tools through the Software for profiling/advertising;
- we may generate limited technical inferences (e.g., stability metrics) to improve performance.
Sources of personal information
- Directly from you when you subscribe and sign-in to Flamingo Cloud through the Software and/or through the pop-up window and when you engage with our representatives during customer support communications.;
- automatically from your device when you use the service;
- from our independent payment processor (transaction metadata) upon paying for a transaction through their secure, separate interface
Purposes of use
As described in Section 3 above (hyperlink for quick browsing).
Disclosures of personal information
- We disclose personal information to service providers/processors (cloud hosting, technical analytics/telemetry and security and data protection) required for us to operate the Software and Flamingo Cloud features;
- to our independent payment processor (controller‑to‑controller) for transactions; to professional advisers; and to public authorities where required. We do not sell your personal information.
Be advised, that in the preceding 12 months, ADMETEC has disclosed certain data from the following categories of personal information to the categories of recipients listed in Section 7 above, for one or more business purposes:
- User Data (for account creation, subscription maintenance and through Software usage).
- Payment and Purchase Data (for transaction clearing/processing)
Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
- We do not
- sell personal information; and do not
- share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising; and do not
- process it for targeted advertising;
Note: If this changes, we will update this notice and notify you in advance and provide required opt‑out links, including honoring recognized opt‑out preference signals (e.g., Global Privacy Control) where required.
In this regard, if and when we apply means as described in this note, and you believe your browser has sent an opt‑out signal, we will treat it as applicable to your state rights once any sale/sharing/targeted advertising is introduced.
Sensitive personal information (SPI) / sensitive data
We collect limited SPI (account log‑in together with password).
We use it only to provide the service, secure accounts, prevent fraud, and for other permitted purposes;
we do not use SPI to infer characteristics, profile your username’s individual activity.
Therefore, the California right to limit SPI use does not apply to our current practices. If our practices change, we will provide a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” control in the Software Interface.
Your U.S. state privacy rights (high‑level summary)
Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
- Access/know and port your data; delete data; correct inaccuracies.
- Opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising; and opt out of certain profiling decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects (where applicable).
- Limit the use/disclosure of SPI (CA).
- Appeal our response to your request to a court in your local jurisdiction.
How to exercise your rights:
Email [email protected] and we will verify your request (and your state residency), respond within the statutory timeframe, and explain any denial should such arise.
You may use an authorized agent subject to verification but we may reasonably require you to confirm such agent is acting on your behalf or request written authorization on such nomination.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Appeals:
If you disagree with our response, reply to our decision within 45 days to request an internal appeal. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General or privacy regulator.
Nevada disclosure:
We do not sell “covered information” as defined by Nevada law. You may email [email protected] with “Nevada Do Not Sell” in the subject line for any questions.
